CPEs, or Continuing Professional Education credits, are crucial for many information security professionals- especially for those who are holders of ISC(2) certifications, such as the CISSP.

Below is a reference guide for how many CPEs are awarded for completing various content on the Enterprise Platform. These numbers are specifically what is awarded by ISC(2).


Active & Exclusive Machines

For the purposes of CPE submission, Exclusive Machines are treated the same as Active Machines. It is worth noting that Machines rated Very Easy do not award CPE credits.

Professional Labs & Cloud Labs

CPE credits for Professional Labs & Cloud Labs are awarded based on the percentage completed, with 10 CPEs being awarded for every additional 25% completion for a total of 40 CPEs.

Professional Labs and Cloud Labs certificates also include CPE credits, length, subject areas covered, and location which can be used to submit them to any organization to acquire CPEs.


Academy on Enterprise

CPEs are only awarded for Modules that are Tier 1 and above.
